Seasonal Invitations to Reconnect and Restore

Four Saturdays to pause, restore, and reflect—mirroring the natural changes of the year. These sessions offer gentle ways to nurture your wellbeing by slowing down, spending time on the land, and learning practices that help you experience how nature can support your physical and mental wellbeing. You’ll also explore your relationship with nature and deepen your connection to the natural world.

Chose a time and session that works for you

What These Sessions Offer

We have been running our Wild Day sessions for a number of years now, and we’ve seen the impact they’ve had, just a few hours of being outdoors, held in a simple and thoughtful way, can support people in feeling more grounded, calm and energised.

In a world that often asks us to be busy, productive, or ‘on’, these sessions offer something different:

  • Slow down and tune into nature through the seasons

  • Experience how nature can support your physical and mental wellbeing

  • Explore your relationship with nature and deepen your connection

  • Share time with other like-minded people

  • Learn practices to support you in daily life

These are ways of being we are rarely taught—stillness, spaciousness, ease.

How The Sessions Run

We gather from 10.30am with coffee and a gentle arrival. After a short introduction and grounding, there’s time to check in before moving into the main activity: time on the land, creative expression of your experience, sharing in pairs, and group reflection.

We close with a short check-out and a take-home practice. Each session runs for two hours and finishes at 1pm (morning) or 4pm (afternoon).

Shared Lunch

Lunch is provided between the two sessions, bringing everyone together around the table. You’re welcome to join for either the morning or afternoon, or stay for the whole day.

We’ve been lucky to receive seed funding from North Somerset Community Grants to pilot this series. This support allows us to offer these sessions in an affordable and accessible way. However, to sustain this work in the longer term, we are trialling a three-tier payment structure to help move toward a more self-sustaining model.

Why There’s a Cost—and How It Sustains Community and Place

These gatherings are simple: seasonal activities, time outdoors, space to breathe. But behind that ease is thoughtful preparation—planning, materials, inclusive facilitation—and the care it takes to maintain a welcoming space.

Wild Days are a place where we have created a supportive community-along with Brown Rock being a place used by groups including children and young people and local residents.  Contributions help cover:

  • Costs of running Seasonal Wellbeing sessions

  • Maintaining the site for ongoing community use

  • Keeping the space safe, accessible, and cared for

We offer three rates so that more people can take part. Like the seasons, our resources ebb and flow—please choose the rate that feels right for where you are at this moment.
