About the event
Join us in the beautiful cobhouse at Brown Rock, as we learn to preserve the beauty of summer, by making and filling our own flower press!
This will be a relaxed evening, where you will learn how to put together a flower press, and then fill it with flowers and foliage, from the market garden and the surrounding woodland. You will then get to take home what you've made, with ideas for what to do with the flowers when they come out of the press, and hopefully lots of inspiration to keep using it!
Brown Rock is all about wellbeing, taking time to slow down and enjoy the seasons. Come and join us in this magical space, to unwind, connect to nature, and create something beautiful. No previous experience is required - whether you're a regular artist, or haven't tried your hand at anything creative, everyone is welcome!
A place on the workshop is £40, which includes the flower press materials, a glass of wine / soft drink, and some nibbles. RSVP below, and we'll email you with a payment link to book your place on the workshop.
Important information
This workshop is 16+. We have toilets at the cobhouse, which are accessed by some steps. The cobhouse itself is a short walk up a hill from the parking area. Do get in touch if you have any access needs, and we can give you more details about the venue. Please also let us know if you have any allergies beforehand.
